This is going to be my next CD purchase. I love the first track on this album, "Help I'm Alive"


Metric is a rock/indie band and I love their sound!

Metric - Help, I'm Alive

I love the beginning of this song, it's a slow pulsating and pounding opening with the echoing first line:

"I tremble"

Sung by the lead singer, a chick, Emily Haines. You know I love a chick lead singer! (Tori Amos, Paramore, Shiny Toy Guns, Gwen Stafani, etc etc) I've actually never heard of Metro before until I heard this song but I hear the whole album, Fantasies, is great!

Apparently Mark from Blink 182 is a huge fan of Metro and raves about their new album on his blog constantly.
